Pakistan National Council of the Arts (Urdu: پاکستان قومی انجمن فنون, or PNCA) is an apex Cultural body in Islamabad, Pakistan. It spearheads the development of arts in Pakistan. It aims to build a robust arts ecosystem by creating an environment conducive to the flourishing of the arts, where the arts are accessible to everyone and artists and art groups have the commitment, financial support and resources, and to excel at home, and on the world stage. PNCA is structured into four major divisions: Visual Arts Division, Performing Arts Division, Children Art Workshop and National Puppet Theatre. PNCA is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Information Broadcasting & National Heritage, Government of Pakistan. Its facilities include Auditorium, Open Air Theatre and Lecture Hall. PNCA is funded by the Ministry of Culture of Pakistan. National Art Gallery in Islamabad is a part of PNCA. |
