Pakistan Super League Player Draft is organized for the selection of players who join five PSL franchises to participate in every upcoming season. Player Draft for the inaugural season of PSL happened on 21-22 December 2015 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Pakistan Super League Player Draft 2016 will be held on 19 October 2016 in Dubai, UAE. 414 players, including Pakistani and foreign cricketers, are divided into five different categories: Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver and Emerging.
