Akcent is a multi-certified, award-winning dance pop act from Romania. It performs in the genres of dance-pop, euro-pop and house music. It was created by Adrian Sînă and Ramona Barta. Marius Nedelcu, Mihai Gruia, Sorin Stefan Brotnei, Corneliu Ulici and others have also remained band members in the past. Its members sing in Romanian, English, Polish and Spanish. After the disbandment in September 2013, Adrian Sînă is the only active member of the band.

Otilia mainly got success due to the song "Bilionera" which gathered over 70 million views on YouTube (nearly 200 million across all channels YouTube). The single got positioned in the radio charts in Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria and other countries. Otilia Brumă is the third artist from Romania who has made headlines internationally since her music debut.
